2018 Chamber 18th Annual Sponsorship Campaign

In an effort to relieve the continuous “donation” burden that is placed on businesses in the Saraland area, the Chamber is announcing the 2018 Chamber 18th Annual Sponsorship Campaign.  Our Officers, Directors and the Planning Committee members have invested considerable time and effort to develop a program that can help you – a valued member of the Saraland Area Chamber of Commerce. Last year’s campaign made it possible for the Chamber to provide for our members: Monthly Luncheons, Business After-Hours, Business Before-Hours, and our “Insight” Newsletter, as well as the addition of Summer School workshops, Membership Incentive Program, and online registration and renewal options.  These and other networking opportunities are made possible by you!  Read More…
Get to know Jackie Barnett “I knew the very first time I attended a Saraland Chamber luncheon that this was a group that I wanted to be a part of.” And once I joined I knew that homecare COMPANIONS would fit perfectly into the Saraland community! I am honored to share this message with others as an Ambassador. As a native Mobilian, I often had the opportunity to visit family that lived in Saraland. And as years have gone by, Saraland has grown from a ‘little community’ on the outskirts of Mobile to the ‘little town that could’ in Mobile County. It’s exciting to be a part of a community that shows such incredible pride, keeping strong in traditions that have made Saraland strong while adapting to growth that is good for the community and the county. A graduate of BC Rain High School, Barnett continued her education at Mississippi State University with a focus in Communications. Living in Syracuse, New York and Omaha, NE, increased her awareness of business trends and broadened her base of knowledge in re-spect to local cultural and socioeconomic impacts on business. She is the General Manager of homecare COMPANIONS, a locally owned company that provides non-medical services in the home to seniors and disabled adults in Mobile and Baldwin counties. She also serves as the Vice President of the Connie Hudson Mobile Regional Senior Community Center Foundation, is a member of PEO International, a philanthropic organization and is Vice President of the Career Women of Mobile.
