A Word from the Mayor of Saraland
We are off to a great start for 2014! Several new businesses have located to
our city this month with more on the way. Grants the city has obtained will
enable the construction of the new Infirmary Medical Campus and surrounding
retail development as well as the long anticipated project redoing I-65/Exit 15.
Several hundred thousand dollars in additional grant funds this year will help
transform and beautify our Highway 43 corridor and construct a new youth
recreational center in our community. Saraland is currently updating its long
term comprehensive plan for our city and appreciates the input our Chamber
has provided to this process.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Saraland Chamber and its
many business members for their support and hard work to better our
community. Volunteering with our chamber is a great way to get involved with
Saraland to work for the continued growth and prosperity of our city. The
Saraland Chamber does an outstanding job promoting Saraland and helping its
member businesses succeed.

Mayor, City of Saraland
